Tenmile Distillery is a small, independent distillery using traditional methods of whisky-making to produce a handmade superior spirit. At Tenmile, fast paced production schedules are not an option. Their goal is to make the best in class spirits, from the best ingredients, with the best people, and to take their time doing it.
Tenmile Distillery has been carefully placed inside a 100-year-old repurposed dairy barn on 70 acres in the Oblong Valley. The tasting room bar is built out of Walnut harvested from the farm. Local Carpenters Bob Barlow and Will McCabe, who did much of the original work, returned to create the bar
With a goal of producing a World-Class Single Malt, Tenmile commissioned a Mash tun, Wash still and Spirit still from Forsyths in Rothes, Scotland. They also have a unique Vodka column and specialized gin still from Forsyths for creating vodka and gin spirits.

Every batch of our LISTENING ROCK gin has botanicals steeped in it. We make our base spirit ourselves from grain grown in New York State. We are also growing as many of our botanicals ourselves as the climate allows.
