The Arlington Farmers’ Market is held Thursdays, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, June through October, on the Vassar Alumni Flats Lawn on Raymond Avenue in Arlington Village (Town of Poughkeepsie). The market has an array of vendors selling local vegetables, fruits, honey, meat, wool products, bake goods, homemade soap and jewelry.
The market also participates in the Farmers’ Market Nutrition program (WIC), which helps local families who need public assistance to be able to shop for locally grown vegetables and fruit. For many of the farmers, our market is vital for them to sell their products and helps them generate much of their revenue for the year. So, when you shop at the Arlington Farmers’ Market you are helping a local farmer stay in business.
The Arlington Farmers’ Market sits adjacent to the Arlington Business District, which offers an array of unique shops and many dining options. The Arlington BID supports the Farmers’ Market because of the benefit to the local community and participating vendors.
