Huguenot Street Farm is a charming oasis nestled on historic Huguenot Street in the heart of New Paltz, New York. The farm embraces a community-supported agriculture model that promotes responsible vegan farming practices.

Picture this: over 125 varieties of Certified Naturally Grown vegetables, vibrant cut flowers, and delicious fruits flourish on their 77 acres of beautifully preserved land. The farm is a haven of fertile cropland, lush forests, and serene wetlands, lovingly protected for future generations.

Huguenot Street Farm strongly believes in sharing the bounty of its efforts with the community. That’s why its CSA distributions occur twice weekly. For nearly twenty years, it has pioneered innovative technologies and processes to nurture a low carbon footprint and go beyond traditional organic practices. This means that CSA members enjoy fresh, mouthwatering produce at prices often lower than those at the supermarket.

The farm invites everyone to celebrate the love of good food, sustainable practices, and the beautiful agricultural landscape. They look forward to sharing their harvest with the community!

Huguenot Street Farm CSA

Huguenot Street Farm CSA operates with a distribution schedule that spans 22 weeks, beginning in the first week of June and concluding in October. In addition to this primary season, there may be opportunities for make-up distributions and optional weeks in early November. The farm focuses exclusively on providing its members fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring a diverse and seasonal variety throughout the CSA program. Beyond the regular distributions, Huguenot Street Farm also offers an excellent U-Pick experience, where visitors can gather their flowers, berries, peppers, and beans, enhancing their connection to the land and the agricultural process.

Huguenot Street Farm Food

Unlike traditional grocery stores where items are pre-packaged and organized, Huguenot Street Farm embraces a more hands-on approach. Customers can enjoy the excitement of selecting their produce directly from bulk bins, creating a personal connection to their chosen food. This method means that vegetables and fruits are freshly harvested and immediately made available—often right after they are pulled from the soil. Visitors stroll through the farm and can watch farm workers gather vibrant, fresh produce, placing it on tables for easy access. This highlights the freshness of the offerings and allows customers to engage with the farming process more intimately. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the hard work of growing food and understand its journey from field to table.
