Pastured Eggs
The farm’s chickens play an essential role in their agricultural ecosystem, working harmoniously with every entity present. Various chicken breeds are maintained, including Barred Rock, Australorp, Rhode Island Red, Welsummer, and Golden Comet. Free to roam the farm, they scavenge for insects, grain, grit, and grasses while gently tilling the soil. As they move, they fertilize the soil with their nitrogen-rich manure. Only local, organic grain is used as a supplement for these chickens.
Woven Stars Farm CSA
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a model that provides direct access to fresh food straight from the farm. This approach fosters a better connection between consumers and farmers and encourages a more natural and seasonal way of eating. By purchasing a CSA share, community members directly support the farm by providing funds that help with investments for the new season, enhancing financial stability. Once monthly, customers receive a mix of seasonal meats and fresh eggs. The meats include heritage breed lamb, chevon (goat), beef, chicken, pork, and duck, all delivered frozen in vacuum-sealed packaging.
