Hahn Farm is a family-run working farm operating year-round since 1798. The farm follows organic practices and raises healthy, hormone-free animals in clean and wholesome surroundings. Originally, Hahn Farm was a dairy farm, but about 30 years ago, Tom Hahn started diversifying the farm in anticipation of future trends.
The farm began producing more hay, raising beef cattle, and Christmas trees. Tom also had the foresight to start agri-entertainment, and the farm now hosts a fall festival for families. Hahn Farm has been growing steadily yearly, from producing hay for numerous horse and sheep farms in Dutchess County to its outstanding beef, poultry, and pork retail store, to the ever-growing fall festival.
Hahn Farm spans over 500 acres and includes 65 acres of field corn, 10 acres of sweet corn, 30 acres of pumpkins, and various fall crops. There are also 350 acres of grass hay, 50 acres of alfalfa hay, and 300 various tomato plants planted in two hoop houses. The farm also has 3 acres of spring and summer vegetables, 8 acres of Christmas trees, and 60 acres for the pasture of cattle, sheep, hogs, and chickens. Hahn Farm is also a charter member of Hudson Valley Fresh.
