The Old Croton Aqueduct, located between Dobbs Ferry and Hastings-on-Hudson, traverses several colonial tenant farms impacted by the Revolutionary War. Participants can walk and discover how the war divided neighbors and families into patriots, loyalists, and everything in between. They will discuss the perilous, war-torn contested grounds of Westchester County and how it influenced the area following the war’s conclusion. This free, two-hour tour is offered in partnership with Revolutionary Westchester 250, the Old Croton Aqueduct State Historic Park, and Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct, covering approximately 4 miles. The tour will begin at the Mercy College parking lot (bleachers) next to the trail and proceed towards Revolutionary Walk in Hastings and back.
