Windrift Hall, a 1795 historic manor house is situated on top of a hill surrounded by 14 acres of pristine nature overlooking a private pond, gardens, stonewalls, meadows, woods and a gently flowing creek.
The facility sleeps 14, featuring 5 bedrooms with 10 single and 2 queen size beds, 2 bathrooms, 1 powder room, library, gracious center hall and a beautiful country kitchen. Set in the Hudson Valley within 2h from NYC and 20min from Hudson and Albany.
The house is filled with an eclectic mix of art and antiques reflecting the origins and artistic backgrounds of the European owners and their love for design and good craftsmanship. The 1200sqrft pavilion overlooking the pond is an amazing place to retreat, recharge, celebrate and expand your horizons. From the comfort of your deckchair you might see a blue heron landing gracefully on the pond or study the birds circling in midair. Spring is a beautiful time to see the gardens and wild flowers come into bloom, in summer you might like to cool off with a swim in the spring fed pond and take your meals in the shadow of the 250 old maple tree. In fall there’s an explosion of colors with spectacular foliage, and winters are perfect for lounging in front of any one of the 5 fireplaces.
