MP Taverna, Chef Michael Psilakis’s modern interpretation of a traditional Greek tavern, is a vibrant addition to the Westchester dining scene. It is conveniently located just steps from the Metro-North Railroad and a short distance from the Hudson River. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

The menu at MP Taverna features a variety of Greek-inspired dishes that aim to elevate Greek cuisine within the American culinary landscape. The lunch menu includes signature dishes, salads, and sandwiches. At the same time, brunch offers delightful sweet and savory options like Ricotta Pancakes with caramelized apples, almonds, raisins, and zabaglione, alongside Roasted Tomato Skillet Baked Eggs, which include sheep’s milk ricotta, Graviera cheese, basil, and garlic.

In keeping with the Greek tradition of food as a means of bringing together friends and family, Psilakis also offers roasted whole animals for larger groups. Guests can choose from Whole Fish, Baby Lamb, Suckling Pig, Kid Goat, and Rack of Rib Steak, all of which can be picked up to impress guests at home.

The restaurant’s interior, housed in an 18th-century building with its original beams and rafters still visible, has been beautifully transformed by Michael David Associates. Guests can view the main dining room, which seats 120, through various-sized rectangular cut-outs in the mahogany wall that separates it from the bar area. The bar features ten rustic brass chandeliers hanging from a 13-foot acoustical tiled ceiling and is equipped with two LCD television screens. Additionally, outdoor seating is available during the warmer months.
