The Parting Glass Irish Pub is believed to be the oldest continuously operating bar and restaurant in Saratoga Springs. The pub has three different rooms that serve casual pub food, and live music is performed in the stage room. This room has hosted multiple Grammy winners and famous Irish bands such as Alison Kraus, Mark O’Conner, Kingston Trio, Bela Fleck, The Furey Brothers, Maura O’Connell, Kevin McKrell, and De Danann, among others.
The Dart Hall has nine English dartboards where leagues and tournaments are held, as well as hosting large parties.
The bar itself is around 80 years old and is made from tiger oak, straight grain oak, and Honduras mahogany. Its beauty inspired the current owners to purchase the property and restore it.
There are regularly scheduled dart nights with league play and a weekly Celtic Session that keeps everyone engaged and singing. The atmosphere is congenial, hospitable, and fun, which is exactly what you would expect from a true Irish pub.
Aside from the typical pub fare, the establishment also offers a variety of traditional Irish dishes with over 100 beers and 36 on tap!
