Urban Industrial Design is a custom furniture business in Albany NY that works with both residential and commercial clients. What began as a hobby of building custom furniture, soon lead to a passion and a business. Owner and operator Brian Seitz decided to invest in his talents and pursue his dream of doing what he loves – joining carpentry with metal fabrication to create classic and original pieces of furniture.
Urban Industrial Design operates in a 5,000 square foot climate controlled facility. We have many industrial size machines that allow us to take on bigger projects and build larger tables. The recent addition of a 5′ x 10′ Laguna CNC machine enables us to produce an even better finished product! Our location in the Capital Region is convenient and easy to find, just off of Central Ave in Colonie.

Lakeside Table
This table is made to order with your choice of Lake and resin color! Our CNC machine can follow the contour of whatever lake you may want, we then fill the outline with a resin, which hardens and becomes one smooth flat table top. The Brookhill
Live edge solid black walnut dining room table sitting on top of a cast iron vintage style base. This table can be made in a variety of sizes and heights and each table is different from the next! Professional craftsmanship from start to finish. All of our walnut tables are crafted from locally salvaged trees, milled, kiln dried and finished using top of the line products to ensure longevity with no water rings or stain marks. The Brookhaven
This table is made to order with your choice of resin color! Everything is handmade right here in our shop from locally salvaged wood. We work in conjunction with you to build the perfect table for your home or business! (2) Solid Black Walnut slabs with EcoPoxy resin in the middle, Ocean/pearl pigments used is the pictured table. The Kimberly
Made from a locally salvaged black walnut tree, kiln dried and flattened on our CNC machine. All cracks/voids have been filled with copper epoxy to stabilize the slab. The slab has been finished with Rubio Monocoat for a durable, long lasting and exception protection with a soft satin finish.Included with the sale is metal table back, brushed nickel finish with levelers. Dimensions 88″ overall length, 32″ – 44″ total width, 1.75″ slab thickness, 30″ height – standard dining height.
Modern Walnut And Oak
This beautiful solid black walnut table is IN STOCK and available! This unique table has a modern design quarter sawn white oak table base with matching white oak “bow-tie” inlay on the table top. Dimensions of picture table 6’L x 36″W x 30″H
