Basic Hands-On Sailing
Croton Sailing School’s Basic Hands-On Sailing course is designed to give you the foundation you need to become a confident day sailor. This two day course offers 12 hours of Hands-On sailing instruction aboard a 24′ Rainbow.
Practice Sails
Practice Sails are a unique aspect of Croton Sailing School’s learn to sail program. These popular sails allow you to use your new skills while sailing with other graduates under supervision of a Croton Sailing School Instructor.
Basic Hands-On Sailing Plus
This three-day course offers 18 hours of Hands-On sailing! Basic Hands-On Sailing, plus a full day Practice Sail. After your Basic Hands-On program you will be prepared to take the tiller on your own sailing adventure aboard one of Croton Sailing Club’s 24′ Rainbows or a yacht of your own.

Croton Sailing Club
The Croton Sailing Club was developed to provide sailors with the benefits of easy sailing on a variety of yachts without the burden of boat ownership. Like many sailors you may be wishing for more sailing opportunities and freedom in your sailing time. If you have been wanting more flexibility in your sailing, the Croton Sailing School had you in mind when we created the Croton Sailing Club! Membership in the Croton Sailing Club will offer you numerous benefits over boat ownership or renting a boat on a daily basis.

Captained Charters
Enjoy the scenic Hudson River Valley aboard one of our 24’Rainbows and 26′ Pearsons. Private charters can be for groups of 2 – 5 people depending on boat size. Captained Charters allow you and your crew to relax and enjoy the river while your Captain ensures that your experience is an enjoyable one. Our Sailing season runs May through October so there is plenty of time to enjoy Spring, Summer, and Fall in the Hudson Valley.

Youth Sailing Lessons
The EAST Sailing Academy introduces children and teens to small boat sailing and racing. The program is taught aboard a fleet of over twenty vessels ranging in size from 13-24 feet. Beginner and experienced sailors have fun and are challenged through skill advancement in the EAST Sailing Academy Log Book. Day trips, water fights, fun awards and sailing games are always in the forecast at Croton Sailing School’s EAST Sailing Academy!
