The Orange County Bicycle Club is a vibrant community of recreational enthusiasts who have been exploring the stunning landscapes of the Hudson Valley for over two decades. The club gathers on their bikes every Saturday morning at the Big V Parking Lot, located at the intersection of 17-A and Route 94 in Florida, NY.
Apart from the big Saturday ride, the club schedules Sunday excursions and more miniature weekday rides throughout the warmer months. Members meet at different locations in the county, and anyone is welcome to join. The club ride calendar is available on their website, providing all the information about upcoming rides.
Orange County is a haven for cyclists, offering an abundance of empty roads that wind through fields, lakes, pastures, and woods. Every time the club crests a hill and sees a breathtaking view of a high ridge, they feel a sense of peace and happiness. That’s the reason why they ride.
In addition to enjoying the beauty of the county, the members of OCBC are deeply committed to their communities. They frequently participate in charitable events and have donated over 65 bicycles to less fortunate children in the area. The club members are passionate about spreading the joy of cycling and are always looking for ways to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
